Sam and Jordan decided to have a halloween elopement at Avery Park Rose Garden in Corvallis, Oregon! We had Batman, Wonder Woman, and a bumble bee at the wedding. It was such a simple and fun Halloween elopement, that it was the perfect setting and ceremony for Sam and Jordan. It was just the couple, myself (doubled as a witness), Sam’s co-worker (the other witness), and the officiant.
I arrived early to scope the park out and to find areas where we could do photos after the ceremony. While I was walking around, I saw an individual dressed in a bumble bee costume hanging around the area I was told was the ceremony spot. I introduced myself and found out it was the other witness. Isn’t she cute and was definitely dressed for the occasion.

I saw Sam and Jordan coming down the pathway with their decorations tucked in one plastic tote and instantly knew it was them.

While they were setting up, I decided to start taking as much getting ready and ring photos.
We started the wedding ceremony shortly after they got the gazebo decorated. Sam wore a beautiful, simple black dress with a deep red ribbon tied around her waist. Jordan sported a great Batman jacket with a batman tie clip. After the ceremony Sam put on her Wonder Woman jacket on and I about died! I love Wonder Woman!!!! This was a dream to photograph and so honored to be the one to help document the momentous occasion.

“If you want to go big, that’s up to you, but going small is so much easier and more intimate.”
