When I think of Paris, France, I think the City of Love. Solene's and James'sand ceremony was so full of love it made me want to renew my vows exactly like they did it. It was sweet, very intimate, and their speeches, oh my!
Solene and James lives in Paris but came back to Oregon to do a small sand ceremony to unite the two families together. They got married on April 25, 2018 at the Washington County Courthouse in Hillsboro. They came back to Oregon mid August so they can celebrate this union with close family and friends.
The ceremony was super unique. They had sand gathered from places that both Solene and James had visited. Each family and friend had a small cup in their hand and each had a turn to say something lovely to the newlyweds and then poured their cup of sand in a jar to unite all the sand together.
HOW DID THEY MEET AND HOW DID HE PROPOSE?
Solene and James met at school. James graduated from Oregon State University. Go Beavers!
