Samantha and Garett wanted a snowy engagement session and unfortunately the snow melted before we had a chance to have the session. None the less, the pictures still turned out STUNNING because these two were beautiful inside and out. They showed so much love that it shines in their pictures.
HOW THEY MET
"We were high school sweethearts. We met at school. He was a year younger and I used to shove him into lockers. On the last day of school, we sat next to each other in line and talked forever. He ended up walking me home and we've been together since. But really, he didn't ask me out until my senior year." - Samantha
"Well, after I graduated from high school, I went off to college. I would try to see him every weekend, but I didn't have a car. Finally, I dropped out and moved home. That summer, we ended up moving into an apartment together. We lived for a year before he joined the Navy. He left the day of our 3 year anniversary. We didn't talk for 2 months and then I started getting letters. He ended up being discharged due to a bad elbow. He moved home and we got a house together. In 2013, we decided to try for a baby. We did fertility treatments for a year before I got pregnant with our first, Gannon. He was born on Jan. 2015. October 2016, we started for baby #2. We also signed on our house. I did fertility again, he was born early August 2017. 8 years, 2 kids, one house, we were ready to tie the knot. We got engaged on August 21, 2015." -Samantha
WHAT THEY LOVE TO DO TOGETHER
Samantha interest are DIY projects, making signs, painting our home, basically making things look better. My favorite thing to do as a couple is long car rides, listening to music with him, talking about everything. I also love to stay home and watch GOT.
Garett likes to go shooting, hanging out with the family and working on the house. His favorite thing to do as a couple is going out to eat and watching movies at home.
I'm calling our theme "Garden Romance". The feel is romantic, vintage, with lots of flowers! Colors are blush pink, lavender, grey, whites, and sage green. There will be a lot of family, so it should feel like a large family gathering. Atmosphere is love? -Samantha
They plan to get married in their backyard. I can't wait to see how her garden romance comes out!
Congratulations you two! I'm so very excited for your wedding in June!
